A system, not agents in silos

FoundationsStrategic design lead
Chris Hayward is a strategic design lead and design anthropologist, with more than 20 years in technology design and adoption, across government and private enterprise, from Aboriginal women’s shelters to Fortune 500 companies.

He’s now launched a consulting practice to leverage that expertise, helping organisations have deep human and cultural conversations.
Chris was already exploring generative AI and saw it as the next step in his work. But he had gaps in his understanding, and he wanted to be sure he wasn’t making rookie errors. He came to Superesque to formalise what he had learnt, and build a systematic framework for it.
Chris built agents for his design research:
Building them meant decoding his own practice with Supernaut, the course’s AI prompt engineer, and Supernaut-Evals, which tests an agent against his own standard. “You need to unpack all those things you’ve normalised in your work over many years and make them explicit,” he says.
“Superesque has given me the confidence and courage to dive into AI and start a small business.”

Mary Daly, founder of Throughline Solutions. Her five agents push back on her thinking, and led her to design a new offer for clients.
