Terms of Use

Welcome to Superesque

We're excited to have you join us on this journey from AI user to AI builder. These terms are here to make sure everyone has a great experience and knows what to expect. We've tried to keep the legal jargon to a minimum while covering the important things you need to know.

By joining Superesque and using our tools and resources, you're agreeing to these terms. We've designed them to be fair and straightforward. If you have any questions, ask us in the Slack community or email hello@superesque.com.

Foundations

This part applies to Foundations. You'll use:

• learning modules on our website
• TypingMind for building
• Zoom for live sessions
• Slack for communication

Using TypingMind

We give you access to TypingMind for your Superesque coursework. Here's what you need to know.

Use for coursework only: please use TypingMind only for the projects and exercises you're completing as part of the course. It's not for personal work or other purposes outside the program.

No account sharing: your TypingMind account is yours alone. Please don't share your login details with others.

Privacy and security: we can't see your chats or workspace content, only usage such as how many tokens you've used. TypingMind does not use chats to train models. Your messages go to the AI model provider to get a reply, so use your common sense and make your own risk assessment about what you share. If in doubt, ask us first.

Models and API keys: we give you access to a range of models from OpenAI, Anthropic and Google (Gemini) as part of the course. If you want to use optional features such as Perplexity search or image generation, you'll need to set up your own API keys. You're responsible for managing any API keys you set up and any costs that come with them.

Save your work, this is critical: we'll off-board you from TypingMind about one week after the course ends, and all your chat history and workspace content will be permanently deleted. If you want to keep anything you've created, save it somewhere else before then.

Your token budget

Your budget for the course is 15 million tokens. That is more than enough to complete the course: in past cohorts, more than 9 in 10 students stayed within it. Your first week is free: counting starts on the Monday of week 2, the week the course shows you how to manage tokens. We'll message you when you've used 10 million tokens and again at 14 million, so you always know where you stand. At 15 million, TypingMind stops answering until you have more. If you'd like guidance on managing your budget, ask us in Slack. If you use your full budget, you can buy an additional token pack to continue your work.

Our AI assistants

Throughout Foundations, you'll work with our specialised AI assistants, including Navigator, Sensei versions 1, 2 and 3, Supernaut, Supernaut-Evals and Synthea. They're designed for your learning journey, and your access to them ends when the course ends. Supernaut and Supernaut-Evals are the exception: their system instructions are in the prompt library, so you can keep using them in your own tools.

Prompt library: you'll receive a prompt library when you complete the course.

Redo Foundations

For a small fee, you can redo Foundations with a later cohort if you need more time or want to stay connected. Do it at superesque.com/signup/redo.

Superesque Pro

This part applies to Superesque Pro. You'll use:

• learning modules on our website
• Claude Code for building, on your own Claude Max plan
• Zoom for live sessions
• Slack for communication

Your Ship

Your Ship is yours to keep. Ship runs on your own computer. After the course you can keep using it, change it and build on it for your own work. It's licensed to you alone: please don't sell it, use it commercially as a product, or share it with anyone else, including people in your own business. The licence that comes with Ship sets out the details.

Your Claude plan

You bring your own Claude Max plan. Its cost, its usage limits and Anthropic's own terms are yours.

Privacy and security

Ship runs on your own computer under your own Claude account. We can't see your files or your conversations with Ship, only what you choose to send us, such as a report in the feedback channel. Your messages go to Anthropic to get a reply, so use your common sense and make your own risk assessment about what you share. If in doubt, ask us first.

What Ship does on your computer

Ship acts with the permissions you give it. You're responsible for what you approve it to do, and for keeping backups of anything important.

Updates

Your Ship receives updates from us for a year from the start of your cohort, including the course itself. After that, updates come with a Superesque membership. Keep your Ship's repository private: the licence doesn't allow sharing or publishing the template materials.

After the course

You keep lifetime access to the learning materials on our website.

General terms

This part applies to both programs.

Your account

Your account on our website is yours alone. Please don't share your login details with others.

Course materials

Agents and prompts we share: any agent, system instructions or prompts we share with you, in the course, in the prompt library or as part of Ship, are yours to use, change and build on for your own work. Please don't sell them, use them commercially as a product, or share them with anyone else. These are the same terms as the licence that comes with Ship.

Course materials belong to us: all course materials, videos, resources and content belong to Superesque. This includes pre-recorded videos, live session materials, system instructions, worksheets and guides. Please don't share, resell or distribute any of our course materials.

Your creations belong to you: everything you create using what you learn belongs to you: your AI assistants, system instructions, portfolios and any other work you develop. We don't collect project submissions, so you're responsible for saving and managing your own work.

Feedback and testimonials: we'll give you chances to share feedback during and after the course. We welcome all feedback, positive or negative. With your consent, we may use positive feedback, including social media posts, as testimonials on our website and in our marketing.

Live sessions

Live sessions are recorded. We share the recording, plus a transcript, with your cohort as a resource you can reuse in your own AI tools. If you speak, share your screen or turn your camera on, you'll be part of the recording.

Keep them within your cohort. Recordings and transcripts hold your classmates' words too, so please don't publish or share them outside the cohort.

Your name can come out of the transcript. On request, we'll remove your name and identifying details from the transcript.

The recording stays available. A recording holds other people's participation too, so we keep it whole and don't take it down on request. Any change to a recording is at our discretion, depending on the circumstances.

Slack community

Our Slack community is a supportive space for learning and collaboration. You'll have lifetime access, so let's make it great:

• Keep feedback constructive and helpful for others' learning
• Keep conversations respectful and professional
• Be supportive: we're all learning together
• Engage meaningfully in discussions and share your discoveries
• Celebrate together: share your wins and celebrate others' achievements
• Respect confidentiality: don't share other participants' work or personal information

We may remove anyone from the community who seriously or repeatedly breaks these guidelines.

Your personal information

How we collect, use, store and share your personal information, including with service providers outside Australia, is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Your enrolment

Onboarding day: the day your course opens to you, a few days before your cohort's first live session.

Changing your plans: up to onboarding day, you can transfer your enrolment to a colleague or friend, or to another cohort, or cancel it for a full refund. Just let us know and we'll help arrange it. After onboarding day there are no cancellations, and transfers are at our discretion.

Certificate of completion: you'll receive a certificate of completion you can share on social media. It isn't a formal certification or credential.

Technical support

Technical requirements: you're responsible for having an adequate internet connection and hardware to take part in the program.

What we're not responsible for: nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Beyond those rights, we're not responsible for:

• outages or technical problems with services we don't run, such as TypingMind or Claude Code
• costs, usage limits or problems with API keys you set up yourself
• the results you get from applying what you learn in your own work or business
• advice or information from third parties, even when we share links to their resources

Support: we chose the tools in the course to be accessible for non-technical users. If you need help with TypingMind, Ship or anything else, post a message in the #help channel in Slack.

Your rights

Australian Consumer Law: as an Australian consumer, you have rights under the Australian Consumer Law, and we're committed to providing our services with due care and skill.

Our educational commitment: we provide comprehensive education, information and tools to help you succeed. We can't guarantee specific results: your success depends on how you apply what you learn in your own context.

About these terms

Changes to these terms: we may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll tell you in the student area of our website, and you'll be asked to accept the new version before you continue. A change won't take away anything you've already paid for in a cohort you're enrolled in.

Governing law: these terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.

By taking part in Superesque, you're confirming that you've read, understood and agree to these terms. Welcome aboard. We can't wait to see what you build!
